Service Technician Helper

Helper will assist with pool equipment installations by loading/unloading equipment in work vehicle, handing tools to the pool technician, and disposing of old/replaced equipment. Helper will assist with pool cleanings and maintenance by skimming leaves from pool surface, emptying skimmer and strainer baskets, vacuuming pool bottom, cleaning cartridge and filters, backwashing sand filters, and blowing off pool deck. Helper will assist with pool openings and closings by removing/placing covers on pools, putting down/opening deck anchors, priming pool pump and filtration system, and filling skimmer inlets with antifreeze fluid. Helper's assistance with plaster/copping/tiling duties is limited to transferring materials and tools to worksite, removing old materials from the worksite, and applying bond coat to the pool surface area. Helper will use the following tools and equipment to accomplish these tasks: Wheelbarrow, dolly, leaf net, garden hose, hose bib, power vac, external pump for bottom vacuum, plastic and stainless-steel pool brush, filters, leaf blower, vacuum pole, trash bags, shovel, channel locks, screwdrivers, and allen keys.

Assist Service Technician throughout the day by loading and unloading company vehicle with parts and materials needed for the day. Keep company vehicle organized and clean. Assist with pool equipment installations. Backwash/clean filters. Perform pool cleanings and maintenance. Measure, add and adjust pool chemicals. Assist Service Technician with pool opening; pool closing; pool cleaning; plaster, copping, tiles and deck preparation and installation; filter system installation. Job duties include but are not limited to: Remove, fold, store, clean and install pool covers. Empty skimmer/strainer baskets. Skim, brush and vacuum pools. Blow out and hose down pool deck. Rise or lower pool cover anchors. Assist Service technician in processing returns. Clean client's pool area after service has been performed. Bring trash back to throw it away. Measure and add pool chemicals. May drive company vehicle.
