Job description

The ideal candidate will assist in various vineyard tasks and perform tractor operations to maintain the farm's efficiency and productivity. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Vineyard Work:

Pruning: Skillfully prune grapevines to promote healthy growth and maximize grape yield.
Leafing: Remove excess leaves to improve airflow and sunlight exposure for optimal grape development.
Suckering: Remove excess shoots from vines to maintain proper vine structure and encourage fruiting.
Shoot Positioning: Train and position grapevine shoots to ensure uniform growth and facilitate effective canopy management.
Grape Picking: Harvest ripe grapes efficiently while maintaining vine health and ensuring quality produce.

Tractor Operations:

Mowing Cover Crop: Operate tractors to mow cover crops, promoting soil health and preventing weed growth.
Disc Work: Use tractors for soil cultivation, ensuring optimal soil structure for vine growth.
Tractor Cleaning: Maintain and clean tractors and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and extend lifespan.
