Job description

Agricultural product: Parsley, cilantro, beets, leeks, radish, bok choy, napa, spring-mix, kale, cabbage, fennel spinach, cauliflower, romaine, mix lettuce, tomatoes, celery, green onion and carrots.

Under the direction of the field supervisor, workers will drive and operate farm tractor with a laserweed implement used to remove weeds. Workers will attach and adjust farm implement to tractors, will ensure equipment is operating properly at optimum performances. Workers will driver tractor thru furrows monitoring the performance of the laser weed implement. Workers must conduct daily maintenance check prior to operate the tractor, monitor, and drive tractors safely and efficiently over difficult terrain. Tractors have a capacity of under 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Commercial drivers' license not required to drive tractors.

Will need to operate tractor to perform duties. Reports break downs and understands and abides by our safety procedures and performance standards. Can fill out maintenance and progression sheets.

Special Requirements

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Must have sufficient knowledge of tractor mechanics to make simple and minor adjustments and repairs to tractors. Workers will be required to understand and operate GPS operating system. Required to have knowledge of driving a tractor, must pass tractor safety training and demonstrate ability to operate tractor in a safe manner.
