Workers will operate and maintain various tools/equipment as needed and remove trash/debris. The types of tools include hand tools such as shovels, rakes, garden shears and hand pruners and power tools such as lawnmowers, string trimmers or hedge trimmers. Regular maintenance of hand and power tools, such as sharpening blades on pruners, shears, and lawnmowers, oiling equipment, cleaning tools after use, and ensuring all tools are properly stored and organized to avoid damage, loss, or safety issues.

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, watering, digging, raking, spread mulch/pine straw, leaf cleanup/removal, assists with sprinkler/drainage installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Maintain/repair tools/equipment as needed and remove trash/debris. Entry level; requires supervision.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Post-hire random and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
