Job description
We are located in South Dakota. During the harvest season, we have a lack of the number of employees required to run all the necessary equipment. We need seasonal workers to attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires extensive sitting or walking. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months farm experience.
