Job description
Under close supervision of Crew Foreman, the Landscape Laborer will:
1. Provide basic labor in landscaping maintenance and construction in residential and commercial settings including basic planting, fertilizer application, tree-staking, digging and clearing irrigation trenches (maximum size/depth 28” deep and 6” wide) for the purpose of installation of irrigation parts, including PVC pipe, irrigation valves and irrigation heads, loading and unloading of vehicles.
2. Operate vehicles or power equipment such as mowers, tractors, electric clippers, chain-saws, pruning saws, post pounders, wheel grinders and files, rototillers, line trimmers and push spreaders in a proper/safe manner.
3. Use and maintain basic installation tools such as shovels (4” trenching shovels and 6” trenching sharpshooter shovel), spade, maddox, digging bar, hand rake, wheelbarrow, lawn roller and grading rake.
4. The employee will dig trenches for the purpose of installation of irrigation parts, including PVC pipe, irrigation valves and irrigation heads.
5. The maximum size and depth of the irrigation trenches would be 28 inches deep and 6 inches wide.
6. The tools used to dig the irrigation trenches are a 4” trenching shovel and a 6” trenching sharpshooter shovel.
7. Must be able to reach overhead and work in various positions including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extend periods of time.
8. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
9. Must be able to ascend steps and ladders, and lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete tasks.
10. Employer will provide transportation to worksite from centralized pickup location in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Schedule varies: Employees will work 5 days per week Monday and Sunday, between hours of 7:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m. Days off TBD per worker preference/employer need.
