Job description
Bus Driver Duties & Tasks Description (SOC Code 53-3053 - Shuttle Drivers and Chauffeurs) Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting farmworkers to and from work sites and other locations and various driving duties related to farm operations. This role requires the operation of buses and passenger vehicles, including shuttle buses and company cars, to transport farmworkers from employer-provided housing or centralized pick-up points to work sites and back. The Bus Driver operates on the farm and around farm properties during workdays, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards. Bus Drivers must perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicles are in good working condition, checking the tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment. They must complete accident reports when necessary, comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles safely and courteously, and ensure passengers follow safety regulations. Special Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Three (3) months of previous equipment operator
experience required.
