Job description

Perform variety of attending duties at traveling carnival food concession, such as setting up, tearing down, and operating mobile food concessions by taking orders and serving food and beverages.

Details of tasks that may be involved in this position: May communicate with customers regarding orders; scrub counters, steam tables, and other equipment and clean fountain equipment; accept payment from customers and make change as necessary; perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping and washing serving devices, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary; serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers attending fair or festival; prepare daily food items, and cook simple foods and beverages such as sandwiches, pizza, deep fried Oreos, lemonade or other fair foods; wrap menu items for serving; set up dining areas; and prepare and serve cold drinks, frozen milk drinks, or desserts, using drink-dispensing, milkshake, or frozen-custard machines.
