Job description

Job Title: Swimming Pool Servicer
Division: Operations General Statement of Job: Perform the cleaning, maintenance, opening, and closing of commercial swimming pools to ensure safe and sanitary conditions for patrons
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
1. Remove debris from the pool & deck area and haul it to the waste facility 2. Install and remove pool covers as needed and assist with storing and organizing pool furniture and equipment
3. Inspect pool surfaces, tiles, and grout for damage and perform minor repairs
4. Perform minor maintenance on the swimming pool, auxiliary equipment & deck area
5. Fill the water line of the pool, check the pool for leaks & turn on a filter system (s)
6. Inspect the pool multiple times a week; clean the bottom & side of the pool using such aids as an underwater vacuum cleaner, hose, rush, detergent
7. Ensure proper water chemistry by testing and adjusting chemical levels (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
8. Operate and maintain pool cleaning equipment, including pumps, filters, vacuums, and chemical feeders
9. Winterize pool facilities and carry furniture & equipment back to the storage room
10. Notify managers concerning the need for repairs 10. Performs all job duties in a safe manner
11. Exposure to elements and chemicals should be expected

Special Requirements

Driver's License (U.S. or International), Certified Pool Op.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions. Drug testing is required upon suspicion of drug use and after accidents.
