Job description
Clean all rooms, suites, cottages and indoor and outdoor common areas. Make beds, move and polish furniture, clean balconies and bathrooms, replace linens and towels, clean/polish mirrors and windows, clean microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, dispose of refuse and other similar duties. Pre-treat any noticeable stains on linens at the time they are removed from the room; ensure that all replaced linens adhere to company standards, including being stain-free and unwrinkled. Use equipment including washer, dryer, vacuum and carpet cleaner. Keep storage areas and carts clean, stocked and organized daily. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Identify and report maintenance issues in rooms, suites, cottages and public areas. May also help in laundry with washing, drying, folding linens, collecting dirty laundry from rooms, and distributing clean laundry to linen rooms. Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed. Timely report for morning meetings to obtain daily work assignments and instructions from Housekeeping Supervisor. Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including company dress code, use of assigned uniforms, and work shifts.

NOTE: REGARDING F.A 5A-H, F.A.6A-B: A TYPICAL WORK WEEK CONSISTS OF 36 HOURS PER WEEK OR MORE (OVERTIME IS POSSIBLE, BUT NOT GUARANTEED). WITH ONE DAY OFF(VARIES). (NOTE THE TOTAL NUMBER OF 42 HOURS PER WEEK INDICATED ABOVE IS MISLEADING, DUE TO ENTRY OF 6 HOURS FOR EACH DAY OF THE WEEK INTO THE FORM, WHICH IS NECESSARY BECAUSE, WITH SHIFTS TYPICALLY LASTING 6 HOURS PER DAY AND VARIATION OF DAY OFF, WORKERS MAY END UP WORKING ANY DAY OF THE WEEK AND THERE IS NO SPECIFIC DAY WHEN A WORKER IS GUARANTEED NOT TO WORK). THIS POSITION IS FOR 36 HOURS PER WEEK
(TYPICALLY, SIX 6-HOUR SHIFTS) AS INDICATED IN THE JOB ORDER. WORK MAY BE PERFORMED ON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK FROM MONDAY TO SUNDAY. HOURS OVER 36 AND OVERTIME (OVER 40 HOURS) IS POSSIBLE, BUT NOT GUARANTEED. WORK SCHEDULE CAN VARY AND DOES INCLUDE WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY HOURS.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to work a flexible 6-day schedule; shift times from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, including weekends and holidays, as required. Rotating/variable days off from week to week.
