Job description
Perform concrete chipping inside mixer drums of cement trucks. Clean the build-up of concrete using a pneumatic chipping jackhammer. Remove hardened concrete from ready mix truck drums using 30 lb. pneumatic chipping hammers. Connected to a portable air compressor. Break concrete into small pieces and then remove from concrete drum by reversing the drum, and discharge into waste pile. Methods, tools, and equipment to be utilized to complete tasks: Pneumatic drill, wrench, sledgehammer, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), full face mask, hardhat, steel toed boots, and gloves
Special Requirements
Position requires six (6) months of concrete and cement chipping experience; must possess knowledge and experience in the techniques used to clean the buildup on concrete from a mixer drum, as well as the knowledge in the use of tools required to perform the job duties, such as pneumatic chipping jackhammers, wrenches, and sledgehammers.
