Assist experienced roofers with the repair and installation of roofs of buildings and residences using a variety of materials, including shingles, asphalt, and metal. Tear off existing roofing materials to the decking (plywood) and joists; assist experienced roofers with the replacement of damaged or rotting plywood or joists and installation of vapor barriers or layers of insulation per instructions; assist experienced roofers with the installation of singles, asphalt, metal, or other materials per instructions; load and unload work trucks at job sites; cut roofing materials as instructed; and collect and dispose of roofing material waste and debris. Perform other repair tasks at worksite in connection with, or ancillary to, roofing projects such as gutters, windows, and other related repair. May engage in similar activities as noted above in response to customer service requests after installation of initial roofing system.
