Job description
Dishwasher will properly wash and sort soiled dishes, glasses, silverware, pot pans and other items by using industrial dishwasher or by hand as necessary. They will ensure that the dish area is free of clutter and organized. The dishwasher will also set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks, maintain clean/dry floors throughout the shift. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. Other duties include maintaining a clean kitchen by emptying and cleaning all trash receptacles whenever necessary, rotating the dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources; cleaning dish storage; following sanitation policies at all times; cleaning spills or broken glassware immediately; and reporting sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party. The dishwasher should be able to stand for 8 hours on their feet and lift up to 30 lbs in a hot and humid environment. Occasional bending is required.

Employees will work Mon-Sun an average of 40 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 8 hr shift between 8.00 am to 10.00 pm any day of the week, days off rotate, shifts vary. This job requires continuous movement, lifting, pushing, must be flexible, be able to communicate in English and be a team player, weekends and holidays are required.
