Bartender

Job description

Provide bartending services and is responsible for creating and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as serving food in bar/lounge area. This role will require adherence to state alcohol laws, rules and regulations and use of portion pour controls and adhering to drink recipes. This role will require seating, taking orders, taking reservations from guests, bar set-up and breakdown including filling of ice stations, stocking of beverages ranging from wines, spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and other common bar stock items. The position will perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors as well as wiping down surface areas in bar/lounge area, including polishing of bottles and stocking of general bar service area. Also responsible for securing all alcohol properly at the end of each shift. Additional requirements include preparing checks, itemizing and totaling tab cost and taxes; removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters and set up of bar/lounge area; and serving food and beverages to guests and preparing specialty drinks at tables as required.

Please Note: Under the anticipated days and hours of work per week, we provided an example of a work schedule. Our business is open 7 days a week so the days and hours worked will vary.

Special Requirements

Must have 3 months experience as a bartender.
