Job description

Workers provides landscaping, lot maintenance to the construction sites, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) services. Duties include landscaping and maintenance public and private residential grounds using landscaping and gardening hand tools, power tools, and riding equipment as necessary to perform sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation; upkeep and maintenance to construction sites, including physical installation of slit fence, inlet protections, and other erosion control services on both residential and commercial sites, using equipment such as backpack blowers, shovels, trenchers, rakes and sledgehammers; and provide SWPPP clean up services after natural disasters.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week and schedule: Employer will offer a minimum of no less than 35 hours per week. Open 6-days a week (Monday through Saturdays). Employees work no less than 5 shifts per week, between the hours 7am to 3:30pm. Shift schedule start and end times, and days off vary depending on work demand.

Special Requirements

Must be physically fit and able to work long days outside in the elements. Must be able to lift 50-lbs. Must be able to listen and communicate and effectively work with others as part of a working team. Must be able to work all shifts, which may include weekends and holidays (when needed only). High character, honesty, good attitude, and integrity is essential.
