Job description

Dishwashers will be responsible for ensuring that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards at DNC Parks & Resorts at Sequoia’s property. Dishwashers will wash dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand. Maintain the kitchen work areas, storage areas, and equipment in clean and orderly condition including placing clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Dishwasher will prepare various foods (without cooking) to be cooked or served. Dishwashers will be able to perform job duties in varying temperatures in the kitchen, and comfortable working around exposure to and contact with chemical cleaning agents, broken glass, or sharp metal cans as there is a possibility of scalds, burns, and slipping and tripping. Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in storerooms and freezers. Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, twist, bend, squat, push and pull. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 8:30am to 3:30pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
