Physically demanding duties related to new and replacement roofing projects. Assist more experienced roofers with tear off / removal of existing shingles or other roof materials. Clean roof deck in preparation for installation. Assist with re roofing process as directed by foreman. Assist experienced workers with other repair tasks at worksite in connection with, or ancillary to, roofing projects such as gutters, windows, and other related repair (e.g., replacing caulking and sealants to ensure waterproof fit). This may include, for example, repairing or replacing gutters, fascia, and windows that were damaged during the same event as the roof. Tasks (including tasks related to the services as to windows) may involve general labor and assisting more experienced workers by carrying materials, holding materials that are secured by others, applying weather-stripping, and applying caulking compounds as instructed. May use hammers, battery powered drivers, or air nailers to assist with attachment of windows, gutters, and/or fascia to siding. Clean worksite and load trucks at the end of each day. All duties to be performed utilizing proper installation methods and proper fall protection and scaffolding.

Special Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old and have ability to consistently lift 80 lbs.
