Job description
General agricultural irrigation work, including but not limited to: Install or repair irrigation
systems, irrigation equipment, grain bins, grain handling equipment, and other agricultural
systems on farms. This could include installing or repairing underground pipe, irrigation pumps,
irrigation wells, center pivot systems, grain bins, loop systems, grain augers, grain belts,
electric motors, and any other agricultural equipment on farms. Workers will also be required to
operate and maintain equipment and vehicles owned or leased by the company such as
backhoes, track hoes, bulldozers, forklifts, cranes, pump trucks, drill rigs, trenchers, and
tractors. Workers will need to use hand tools, power tools, and other tools. Workers will be
responsible for maintaining and cleaning any properties owned or leased by the company.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up
to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required.
Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with
verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole
discretion. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires
criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment.
Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.
