Job description

Work hours are from Monday to Friday, from 8:00am 5:00 pm, with a one-hour, un-paid, lunch break. Workers will clean, maintain, and repair harvesting machinery and perform other planting, harvesting, and agricultural duties and manual labor incidental to farming operations. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Workers must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned are provided to the worker, without charge or deposit. Hours may fluctuate due to weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns but will not reduce the 3/4 guarantee over the life of the contract. Possibility of work breakdown will not reduce workers guarantee over the life of the contract.

Special Requirements

Once hired, workers may be required to take a random drug test (at no cost to the worker), as part of fitness for duty and workers safety. Drug testing relates to safety assurance in a working environment. Testing positive or failure to comply with the random drug testing may result in immediate termination from employment.
