Beekeeper

Job description

All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Maintain quality of hives. Move hives between different hive locations. Add extra boxes to produce honey. Removing full boxes for honey extractions, extract honey. Fall feeding and medicating. General sanitation of plant.

Required licensing for designated drivers required (Class C in CA). Some workers will drive vehicles and some will not. Workers that drive company vehicles will require proper licensing. Such requirements are not applicable to all employees but only some employees that will be driving-eligible.

Special Requirements

Must be able to provide references to verify experience. Must be able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at the location that the employer has a crew located at that time. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
