Job description

Workers will be transplanting planting yellow zucchini, green zucchini and green beans and harvesting of the same.
The job duties for transplanting zucchini and green bean are:
Remove transplant from nursery tray and place it in the soil,
Remove weeds from field using a 6' long-handle hoe,
Set up irrigation pipes by lift irrigation pipe from trailer and place in field, connect one pipe to the other.

The job duties for harvesting zucchini are:
Cut vegetable from plant using harvesting knife,
Throw onto packing table; pick up vegetable from packing table and place in cartons; close cartons once full and pass carton to the person on trailer to stack carton on pallet.

The job duties for harvesting green bean are:
Cut vegetable by hand from plant, place vegetable into carton box.
Pass to person at truck to weight and stack carton on pallet.

12" W x 20" L x 6" H
Empty container weights 2 Lbs.
Full container weights 22 Lbs.

Weight and Dimensions of Containers of Green Bean:
16" W x 20" L x 12" H
Empty container weights 2 Lbs.
Full container weights 32 Lbs.

Special Requirements

Work Schedule:
20 workers that will be living at 4386 Westminster Santa Maria, CA, will be working the following schedule:
Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 1:30pm
Saturday from 7:00am to 12:30pm

Workers living at 65 Pato Ave New Cuyama, CA will be working the following schedule:
Monday thru Friday from 9:00am - 4:30pm
No work on Saturdays

No heavy machinery or equipment will be used for the planting and harvesting of these crops.
Employer will provide all the necessary tools for the planting and harvesting of the crops at no cost to the worker.
