Job description
Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate
controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment
used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust,
repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts
and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant,
fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest
and store grain crops. Tow harvesting equipment.
Additional Requirements:
Calumet Manure Management injects manure from dairy lagoons into the fields of farmers.
You will need to drive tractor in field to move the hose (umbilical cord) that is attached to a
plow tractor. You will sit in tractors at the lagoon's edge and move the agitation equipment.
Run side by side along drag hose to booster pumps to make sure line is secure and pumps are
running smoothly.
Special Requirements
No minimum education requirement. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate
may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary

Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, as well as standing or walking for long periods on uneven terrain. Must be able to speak, understand, and read English at a basic level of literacy. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid driver's license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
