Job description

Duties include driving and operating farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will haul materials, supplies or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after being given instructions and must be team players when needed.Requirements:- Employees have valid driver's licenses or obtain one in 30 days.- Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.- NO TEXTING.- No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds.- No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged.- Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons.- No Educational level is required.- Must have three months of tractor driving installed with GPS and towed implements. Operate and understand computerized monitors.Farming with: Beans, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Must be able to speak, understand, and read English at a basic level of literacy. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
