Job description

Cowboy will help feed and doctor cattle each day. Feed and ride horses. Gather the cattle every morning to be inspected and sick cattle. Clean water troughs and feed troughs when need. Inspect, maintain and repair fencing. Process, castrate and vaccinate cattle. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Must be able to ride horses Involves lifting and carrying of 50 lbs frequently
The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker’s Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.

Special Requirements

Experience as Cowboy May be required to take post hire random drug and/or alcohol tests, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. May be required to submit a post hire employer paid criminal background check. Failure to comply or felony convictions that the employer reasonably believes will impair safety of others on the worksite will result in immediate termination.
