Job description

Operate farm machinery such as tractors, skid steers, back hoes, loading augers, and conveyors, as well as additional equipment required to perform farm activities including planting, seeding, cultivation and rock clearing. Workers will drive tractors equipped with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, planters, drills, disks, drags and various types of field equipment to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will also haul materials, supplies, or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be performed on all equipment, as well as on the grounds, yards, buildings, grain bins, fences, and other structures. Farming with : Corn, Hay, Soybeans

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Must be able to speak, understand, and read English at a basic level of literacy. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
