Job description
This is a seasonal secondary agricultural position available to any individual that is able, willing, available, and qualified. The duties are only required during our agricultural farm season that primarily runs from March 15 – November 28. During the months of November through February, this position is not needed, due to weather, as this period of time is after harvest and before Spring planting begins. Employee will work in and around the agronomy center located at 5949 Hwy 200, Beulah, ND 58523 completing various seasonal, secondary support and agricultural administrative tasks, such as weighing inbound and outbound trucks and anhydrous tanks, maintain and track inventory of seed, fertilizer and crop protection products, entering bills of lading, completing invoicing for products sold and delivered, Light cleaning, organizing and maintenance, creation of jobs within the system for our seasonal spreader operators with the customers and other seasonal, secondary agricultural related office tasks. Crops and products include wheat, corn, soybeans, canola, flax, peas, oats, alfalfa, fertilizer, and crop protection products. Applicants should have 3 months of agricultural office experience in the related duties.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of cell phones during work hours is prohibited, supervisors will have phones in case of emergency.
