Job description
Job duties include sampling and testing mill inputs to ensure they meet quality standards specifications, and company guidelines; preparing sample reports, and delivering reports to the Quality department. Job requires performing quality control inspections which include inspecting, testing, and analyzing employer produced grains and other mill inputs to determine their suitability for processing and to ensure inputs meet quality standards specifications and company guidelines. Job duties will also include accurately inspecting inbound grain for moisture content, size, weight, color, toxins, pathogens, oil content, mold, protein content, and foreign presence using a variety of equipment that includes, but is not limited to, grain moisture meters, whole grain analyzers, linco machines, and sifters; inputing sample test results into sample reports; and delivering reports to the Quality department. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy skills are required. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive sitting, walking, frequent stooping, or bending over.
