Job description
On farms, construct livestock facilities. Workers will perform tasks involving physical labor at agricultural construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
Workers will work on their feet, in bent, stooped, and crouched positions, and on ladders for a long period of time. Employees must be able to lift and carry materials or equipment with a weight of up to 75 lbs for 75 yards frequently throughout the day. Work requires repetitive movements and extensive walking. Special Requirements
Post-employment drug tests are paid for by the employer when applicable. One (1) month of construction labor experience is required.
