Job description

On a farm, harvest hay using tractors with implements such as sickle bar cutters and disk mowers. Use tedder to turn the windrow over to help dry. If needed, apply drying agents such as potassium carbonate and/or sodium carbonate to speed up drying process. Bale hay into bales. Wrap bales in plastic to exclude air. To ensure future hay harvests, use grubber to reduce mesquite encroachment, soil erosion, and water depletion on farm by removing mesquite trees and roots.
