Farm Laborer

Job description

Workers will be required to plant tomatos, jalepenos, squash and watermelon plants in the fields, stick, tie and prune plants, and hand harvest crop. Workers will also be required to help with irrigation duties, putting up fencing to keep wildlife from the vegetables, drainage, weed control, etc. Field sanitation duties, keeping the picking bins, buckets, field crates, knives, etc clean and sanitized, keeping fields free of debris, clearing and cleaning the fields after harvest, and any other general farm labor duties needed in the operation of a vegetable farm. Workers may be drug tested, post-hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with the workers' compensation guidelines. Workers must be physically able to perform all stoop labor duties. Workers must follow all safety and work rules.
