Job description
Manual labor to repair grain tanks, legs, drying system, and concrete grain pit using hammer, power drill, straps, ladders, screws, nails, bolts; use hand tools such as shovel, hoe, and rake to level dirt; pull up grain tank floor and supports to clean out rotten grain; replace augers and install new elevator leg; assemble sheets of steel by following a set pattern; use chain saw to cut up downed trees impeding water flow, carry and throw limbs; pile trees and other natural debris for burning or decomposing, haul off and discard other debris; dig holes, set braces, and add concrete; string and attach wire with clips to prevent neighboring livestock and wildlife from entering crop acres; drive farm vehicle to haul off scraps and to obtain items like sheets of metal, wire, concrete.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
