Job description

Supervisors will perform farm supervision duties including, but not limited to, hothouse/greenhouse and packing operations of tomato crop work in all stages; organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks; set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to H-2A employees; monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback, coaching or training accordingly; receive complaints and resolve problems in a timely manner and accordingly to responsibility level; maintain timekeeping and personnel records; pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa; prepare and submit attendance, performance and any additional reports needed to comply with regular operations; ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for both Oro Valley and Grower and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises; operation of a forklift; transportation of the H-2A crew from housing site to Grower facilities when needed and regular weekly trip to grocery store.

Any individual employed under this job order must have a valid federal Farm Labor Contractor Certificate of Registration and must abide by all the requirements of the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (MSPA). The employer understands that they are responsible for assuring that all conditions of this agreement are met regardless of any acts or omissions of the supervisor.

Employees must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors/management and practice safety in all aspects of work.
