Job description

Groundskeepers will be responsible for maintaining golf course and landscaping around the Pinehurst Country Club’s property. Grounds maintenance tasks include planting, trimming and feeding shrubs and trees, removing cuttings, maintaining landscape beds around clubhouse and club grounds, raking and blowing leaves, mowing greens and fairways by operating walk-behind turf equipment, preparing and laying sod, preparing soil plant beds and establishing plantings by seed or transplants, maintaining annual and perennial flowers in aesthetic arrangements, raking bunkers, loading and unloading materials, caring for tee boxes on driving range, cleaning equipment used in practice area, aerating and spiking greens, digging holes and trenches to maintain or construct irrigation and drainage lines, installing pipe and backfills excavations, and emptying garbage cans. Groundskeepers will need to lift up to 50 pounds and operate walk-behind turf equipment.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 4:00AM-12:00PM, 5:00AM-1:00PM, or 6:00AM-2:00PM. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of groundskeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.

Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.

US or International Driver's License is required to drive throughout the property in Club-owned vehicles.
