Job description

Hyannisport Club, Inc. seeks Servers, 10 openings, Temporary full-time positions from 5/1/25 to 10/31/25 in Hyannis Port, MA. Servers: Serve food and beverages to guests throughout all resort venues, including restaurants, banquet facilities and guest rooms. Accurately takes orders and completes bill and payment transactions on POS system. Follows daily checklists for side work including set-ups, stocks, and break down of service. Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs. Min. age is 18 due to alcohol service. No experience necessary; will train. Workers will be paid no less than $19.27 per hour. Returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates up to $24.00 per hour. Overtime hours may be available at a rate ranging from $28.91 to $36.00 per hour. Generally, min. of 35 hours per week, on average 7 hours per workday and 5 workdays per week. Weekends and holidays required. Various shifts required, but generally 8 am-4 pm, 12 pm-8 pm, or 4 pm-12 am. Conditions of employment for H2B and U.S. workers: 1. Initial transportation to begin the seasonal/peak employment (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence will be at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. 2. H-2B workers will be reimbursed during the first workweek for subsistence, visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs, by company check. 3. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 4. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. 5. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting each Monday at 1200 am and ending Sunday at 1159 pm and the employee will be paid weekly. 6. Optional, voluntary, limited, shared dormitory style rooms available, first come first served while available, for a fee ranging $75- $100 per person per week for a private room. If elected, Employer will make deductions from worker’s paycheck for housing costs. 7. All deductions from pay, voluntary or required by law, will be made in compliance with state and federal law. 8. Employees with more experience, or returning employees, may be offered a higher wage rate. 9. This position is eligible for a year-end bonus.
