Job description
Operate or tend agricultural equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors,
self-propelled sprayers, spreaders, loaders, and forklifts to assist in application of ag products
to the field. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to machines with agricultural products,
using forklifts, loaders, and transfer augers. Mix specified agricultural products and dump
solutions into agricultural equipment. Spread dry fertilizer using GPS enabled agricultural
equipment. Manipulate controls, nozzles, hoses, and tubes to set, activate, and adjust
mechanisms on machinery to direct product over designated areas. Adjust, maintain, and
service agricultural equipment and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Certified license is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employer
requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the use of expensive
tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be
capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance
with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may
