Job description
Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes for brunch and lunch including sandwiches, cookies, desserts, and pastries. Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecasted range. Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at workstation and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery. Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol. Maintain clean workstation area including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves. Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.
Special Requirements
Pass pre-employment police clearance; Able to communicate in English; Post-employment drug testing; Employer requires pre-employment police clearance and post-employment drug testing to be carried out equally between the U.S. workers and the H-2B workers.
*Continuation to Section F.A.5 of ETA 9142 above: 40 hours a week will consist of shifts that can vary as needed. Shifts may vary from 6AM to 2PM; variable shifts over 5-7 days a week.
