Job description
Cooks are responsible for the preparation of all cold food for ala carte and banquet service. Duties include: Prepare hot and cold food for ala carte and banquet service 30 minutes prior to service time; Responsible for the rotation, utilization, and prep of inventory: salads, dressings, bar cheeses, etc.; Able to follow recipes as written; Practice good sanitation methods; Set up and clean work area; Use ovens; Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Special Requirements
Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business at the resort but will generally be 5 days per week with rotating days off from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime. The business is open 7 days per week and weekend and holiday work will be required. Pre-employment background check at no cost to the applicant is required.
