Job description
Workers will process crab, multiple species of finfish, bottom fish and salmon. Work on the hand butcher line will involve use of hand and hand tools to perform routine cutting and trimming. Workers will wash, size, and grade seafood and then load processed seafood onto freezer baskets or cartons for shipping.
Special Requirements
Standing 12 hours a day, in cold and wet environment. Repeated lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive motions.
Two Shifts: 6a -6p or 6p - 6a
Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed.
Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience.
Employer is offering up to 40 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed.
Optional employer housing is available at a cost of $15 day.
A pre-employment drug screening will be required at the employer's expense.
A criminal background check will be required at the employer's expense.
A physical exam will be required at the employer's expense.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
