Job description
Responsible for prompt attention to a wide variety of team member tasks: Take orders, serving, preparing, and storing high quality food, measuring ingredients, answering guest questions about menu items and pricing, and proper cash handling procedures when applicable. Stock and organize the kitchen, food lines, food bars, work areas and eating areas ensuring the proper pulling, delivery, rotation, and storage of product. Provide prompt, courteous attention to guest orders while serving and/or preparing high quality food for our guests enjoyment. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas while moving throughout the Park. Prepare and serve food. Maintain cleanliness/sanitation throughout the location including food contact services, washing dishes, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc. Monitoring parking lots. Operate ride controls/control panels in all weather conditions. Verbally communicate and enforce safety rules. Inspect harness and other safety equipment prior to use. React calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations. Visually observe guest actions during ride operations to prevent safety hazards. Visually ensure guests are not adjusting safety equipment and observe actions to prevent safety hazards while on ride/attraction. Keeps all guest corridors and stairways neat, clean, vacuumed, and dusted. Shampoos, extracts carpets and polishes/buffs floors as outlined by Executive Housekeeper on floor schedule and as a needed/requested. Cleans all linen closet floors and empties trash on floors. Stocks all housekeeping carts with proper supplies. Restocks guestroom supplies in the linen closet weekly. These park attendants will not be working with high temperature ovens or fryers to cook food. They will be taking take already cooked items such as such as hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, chicken tenders, wraps, salads, pulled pork sandwiches, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, pizza, vegetables, cornbread, funnel cakes, kettle corn, popcorn, cotton candy, pork rinds, turkey legs, cookies, muffins, breads, danishes and cupcakes and prepare them for final service. They will be taking them from the kitchen to a buffet line, be plating them, and packaging them for to a carry out.
Special Requirements
Sit, stand, walk, lift 30-50 pounds, tolerate temperatures ranging from 0 - 120 degrees, push, pull, bend, at the waist and knees, ascend hills
DAYS AND SHIFTS MAY VARY. HOLIDAYS, WEEKENDS, AND EVENINGS REQUIRED AS NEEDED.
EMPLOYER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PAY A HIGHER WAGE, RATE, OR BONUS TO ANY WORKER IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION BASED ON PERFORMANCE, SKILL, TENURE, OR EXPERIENCE.
EMPLOYER IS OFFERING UP TO 15 HOURS OF OVERTIME PER WEEK AS NEEDED, BUT NOT GUARANTEED.
OPTIONAL EMPLOYER HOUSING IS AVAILABLE AT A COST OF $140 PER WEEK.
A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE EMPLOYER'S EXPENSE.
A PRE-EMPLOYMENT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE EMPLOYER'S EXPENSE.
EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE PAID ON THE JOB TRAINING.
Transportation from optional employer housing to the worksite is provided at no cost to the worker.
