Job description
CDI, LLC is an authorized grain bin dealer and sells grain bins and grain handling equipment. CDI, LLC constructs new grain bins and grain handling equipment. CDI, LLC also performs repairs on other farms' grain bins and grain handling equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; construct facilities; construct structures to support plant growth; load and unload materials and commodities; maintain inventory; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm
vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, dirt moving equipment, forklift, self-propelled machinery, skid steers. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, cotton, soybeans. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
