Job description

Various duties as assigned, such as identifying which garments belong to which customers, processing soiled linens and clothes into laundry machines, loading and operating washing and drying machines, operating ironing and folding machines, etc.; checking the cleanliness and condition of articles while processing through the machines, separating out damaged/ stained articles, folding clean articles and stack into designated amounts by type and size, placing stacks in packaging, weighing and recording weights for invoicing, etc.; maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Special Requirements

Note regarding F.a.5A-H, F.a.6a.-6b.:A typical work week consists of 35 hours per week or more. (Note: The total number of 56 hours per week indicated above is misleading, due to the entry of 8 hours for each day of the week into the form, which is necessary because, with shifts typically lasting up to 8 hours, and variations in days off, workers may end up working on any day of the week and there is no specific day when a worker is guaranteed not to work. This position is for 35 or more (35+) hours per week as indicated in the job order). Shifts available/assigned: Monday-Sunday (1-2 day off, rotating), shifts available as early as 7:00 a.m. to as late as 8:00 p.m. (multiple shifts available, varies), employees will work both weekends and holidays.
