Job description

Overseeing all aspects of horse and livestock care, training and ranch maintenance. Managing mare and foal care during breeding season, assisting with artificial insemination and foaling, and administering medications and vaccinations as needed. Feeding and watering animals, ensuring consistent access to clean water. Grooming, feeding, calving, exercising, and training horses. Castrating, branding, and horn tipping of cattle. Maintaining detailed records and monitoring livestock health.

Loading and unloading hay and grain supplies. Inspecting and maintaining pastures to ensure optimal grazing conditions. Cutting and clearing brushes to promote healthy pasture growth. Implementing predator control measures to protect livestock. Cleaning stalls and maintaining clean living conditions. Managing lawn care, maintaining ranch facilities, such as barns, structures and its surroundings, and entryways. Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery. Ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the grounds, performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance to keep all areas organized and secure.

Special Requirements

Three months experience in animal care required. Being able to carry 50lbs/50yds
