Job description
Workers will be required to care for and maintain plants and crops and prepare ground for planting. Workers will be required to harvest, handle and transport harvested crops and prepare crops for sale. Crops include apples, other fruits and vegetables. Work is often conducted in extreme weather including heat, cold, and rain. Worker will be expected to lift up to 50 pounds. One month experience in the work listed is required.
Poor work performance, including low production (falling below 75% of the crew’s average for that day), and sloppy work quality (more than 5% bruising) will result in progressive discipline, which may include one or more of the following: verbal warning, written warning, retraining, and/or termination.”
Special Requirements
Exposure to extreme temp, lifting 50 lbs, repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping.
