Deckhand needed for 2025 Summer Season Sport-fishing for Halibut, Rockfish, Salmon and Lingcod
Available from May 27, 2025- Sept 30, 2025
*Must have experience on water
*Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and be on a USCG mandated drug/alcohol testing program and pass
USCG mandated background check
*Basic boat handling skills, assist in driving vessel, assist w/ navigation, weather radar & line handling, insure customer safety
and assist in emergency
*Basic maint. on Yamaha & Mercury engines and knowledge of Garmin Navionics
*Maintain fishing gear/rods/reel/tackle
*Sharpen & bait hooks
*Record data in federal/state mandated logbooks
*Assist customer in landing fish & with handling catch at end of day
*Filet fish at days end
Special Requirements
Alaska Department of Fish and Game Fishing License
English
Must have experience on ocean going vessels and experience driving vessels in near coastal waters to ensure not prone to seasickness
