Beekeeper Helper

Job description

All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Maintain quality hives. Move hives between different field and orchard locations. Add extra boxes to produce honey. Remove boxes from honey production and extract honey. Feed and medicate bees. Package finished honey products. Operate forklift to load supers onto trucks. General sanitation of plant.

Required licensing for designated drivers required. Some workers will drive vehicles and some will not. Workers that drive company vehicles will require proper licensing. Such requirements are not applicable to all employees but only some employees that will be driving-eligible.

Special Requirements

Must be able to provide references to verify experience. Must be able join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
