Job description
Performs duties like: operates self – propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a
variety of grain and oilseed crops. Worker adjusts speed of cutters, blowers and conveyors,
and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop.
Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farmworkers. Employees will also work on a farm
for a farmer maintaining farm systems and grain handling components such as grain bins,
augers, dryers, etc. Workers will also assemble/install/service equipment used for grain
harvesting while using hand tools and power tools. Workers may operate various types of
equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, or pickup trucks to transport. Workers will also assist
in the cleaning of grain bins.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme
temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have
positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Must be able to speak, understand, and read English at a basic level of literacy. Employees must
adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and
