Job description
Workers will be loading cotton seed, helping maintain seed house, maintain shop and work on module trucks, also work in gin if needed. All equipment is up to date and safety approved. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; clean work areas; load and unload materials and commodities; maintain grounds and landscaping; operate equipment for a cotton gin; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: cotton gin equipment, cotton module trucks, gin stand, forklift, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, skid steers, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cotton. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
