Farmworker

Job description

Stacking and bagging potato sacks. Grading potatoes. Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Maintain/clean shop area. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, and carrying. Must be able to communicate, follow instructions, and be physically capable of performing all job duties.
30-minute lunch break offered

Overtime Pay: As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time) Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
