Job description

Operating Class, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case, and Cat self-propelled harvester equipment, some of which is equipped with GPS systems, such as chopper, swather, tractor that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops such as wheat, corn, milo; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; operating equipment such as loading and unloading facilities, pickups, or other harvesting equipment; cleaning, maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; driving semi-truck with trailer for transporting crops to fields to storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another; recording information about crops such as yields and weights; directing and monitoring work during harvesting; participating in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage of crops; use of self propelled equipment to tender and applicate fertilizer; personal cell phone use is limited while clocked in and cannot interfere with performing job duties; the workers hired under this job order will primarily perform certain job duties from within the job description; however, all workers may be expected to perform any of the job duties throughout the duration of the season.

Special Requirements

Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
