First-line Supervisor

Job description

Employees will supervise harvesters and shuttle drivers, plan picking schedule, determine which fields or blocks will be picked for the day, and evaluate the shuttle drivers to ensure they are completing all required duties. They may occasionally drive workers to the worksite or back to the housing. Supervisors are required to live in the housing provided by the employer. Must have or be able to obtain immediately a farm labor contractor license. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense.

Any driver employed under this job order must have a valid state and federal Farm Labor Contractor Certificate of Registration and must abide by all the requirements of the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (MSPA). The employer understands that they are responsible for assuring that all conditions of this agreement are met regardless of any acts or omissions of the crew leader.

Employees must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work.
